Mirza Ghalib

Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan was a classical Urdu and Persian poet from India during British colonial rule. Ghalib was born in Agra, India in Turkish aristocratic ancestry on 27th December 1796. His also known as 'Mirza Asadullah Khan Galib', 'Mirza Galib', 'Dabir-ul-Mulk' and 'Najm-ud-Daula'.One of the best-known Urdu poets of all times, Mirza Ghalib is a name that is synonymous with Urdu poetry.
Ghalib started composing poetry at the age of 11. His first language was Urdu, but Persian and Turkish were also spoken at home. He got his education in Persian and Arabic at a young age.
Indian Cinema has paid a tribute to the legendary poet through a film  named Mirza Ghalib in 1954, in which Bharat Bhushan plays Ghalib and Suraiya plays his courtesan lover, Chaudvin.



                           One of the famous Shayari:
                                   ye ishq nahin aasan, bas itna samajh lijiye.
                                   ek aag ka dariya hai, aur doob ke jana hai
                Translation :- This love aint easy, its a river of fire  and in order to cross it we have to dive into it.
